What a beautiful day for the Strege-Hallam wedding at Wild Blackberry Farms! The ceremony took place just outside the barn, nestled beside the blackberry vineyards. Pastor Kerry Robinson led a heartfelt service filled with meaning and joy. One of the most touching moments was the sand ceremony, symbolizing the blending of two families into one. The couple also shared in the Lord’s Supper, making the vows all the more sacred.
Thank you for reading this post, I look forward to hearing from you soon! :-)

As the newlyweds sealed their marriage with a kiss, guests moved to the patio for cocktail hour. Cold drinks and country tunes set the tone for a laid-back celebration, while inside the barn, everyone was treated to a charcuterie spread that could’ve fed a small army—cheeses, dips, veggies, and more. Let’s just say no one went hungry!
The reception kicked off with big energy as the wedding party and the bride and groom made their grand entrance to thunderous applause. Dinner was followed by the cake cutting and some seriously moving toasts that had both laughter and happy tears rolling through the crowd.
The formal dances—First Dance, Father-Daughter, and Mother-Son—took place under the night sky, framed by the open barn doors. Then it was my turn to get the party rolling. Out on the patio, the dance floor stayed packed all night long with guests of every age cutting loose to pop hits, country favorites, line dances, and timeless oldies. From little ones to grandparents, nobody wanted to sit this one out.
To wrap up the evening, the bride and groom shared a private last dance, soaking in one more unforgettable moment before their guests gathered for a lively send-off. It was the perfect ending to a night filled with love, laughter, and nonstop dancing.
Wild Blackberry Farms continues to be one of my absolute favorite venues. The family that runs it is incredible, and the 40 acres of rolling wooded land make every wedding feel both intimate and grand. They can handle weddings of any size, in any season, and they always deliver a magical experience. I can’t wait to be back at the farm for the next celebration!
Congratulations to the Strege and Hallam families—it was an honor to bring the music and keep the dance floor alive all night long.
