What a night! The Stemme-Wright wedding was everything you’d want a celebration to be — heartfelt, stylish, and capped off with one of the most energetic dance floors I’ve seen this year. From vows under the trees to last-song singalongs, this couple and their guests packed the day with personality and joy.
Thank you for reading this post, I look forward to hearing from you soon! :-)

The Stemme-Wright Celebration
Getting ready: The bridal suite and groom’s room were buzzing with anticipation as final touches were made. Both suites are designed for comfort, and you could feel the excitement building long before guests arrived.
The ceremony: Surrounded by Indiana’s natural beauty, the couple exchanged vows outdoors with just the right blend of elegance and intimacy. Guests settled into the wooded setting as soft music and a warm breeze set the scene.
Cocktail hour: Guests flowed seamlessly into the Saloon, with its garage doors open to patios glowing under string lights. Fire pits crackled outside as people mingled, laughed, and toasted the couple. It was the perfect prelude to dinner.
Dinner & reception: Inside the barn, the glow of warm lights and farm tables gave the evening a rustic-elegant charm. Toasts hit that perfect mix of funny and heartfelt — and then came one of the most memorable moments of the night.
First dance magic: Instead of a recording, the couple’s first dance was brought to life by the bride’s sister, Frances, who sang and played guitar live. Her voice filled the barn, giving the moment a raw, personal touch that had everyone leaning in. It was one of those performances that makes the whole room stop and remember why they’re there — to celebrate love and family.
Personal touches: The couple made the day their own with details that reflected their story. From the décor choices on the farmhouse tables to the personalized cocktail napkins, you could tell this wasn’t just another wedding — it was their wedding.
Emotional toasts: Parents and friends delivered speeches that had the crowd laughing and tearing up in equal measure, perfectly setting the mood before the party kicked into high gear.
Food & flow: Dinner service was smooth, giving everyone time to relax, enjoy a great meal, and gear up for the fun ahead. The flow of the evening meant there were no lulls — just a steady build toward the dance floor.
Dance floor: Once the first dances wrapped, the floor never let up. From Motown classics to today’s hits, plus a line-dance block that had the whole room moving, the Stemme-Wright crew partied like pros. Parents, bridal party, kids, and even the grandparents joined in. The energy carried through every song, and guests were still going strong as the night wound down.
